Spring is a great time for cleansing! With the energy of rebirth and renewal swirling around us, taking the time to cleanse can have boost the results of our manifesting, resetting, and motivating. Here are some of my favorite simple rituals and techniques for purifying my space, body, mind, and spirit. These are all super easy and use things you might already have at home. Happy cleansing!

Decluttering & Dusting

Dusting and decluttering is an obvious yet often overlooked way to purify your space and therefore your spirit. Use this Dusting Spray for an extra powerful cleanse.

Homemade Dusting Spray

1 cup water

1/2 cup distilled white vinegar

2 tbsp olive oil

15 drops of purifying citrus essential oil (lemon, orange, grapefruit, etc)

Beeswax Candles & Salt Lamp

Release negative ions by burning beeswax candles or using a salt lamp. Both can purify the air while inducing a deep sense of relaxation and calm.

Purifying Salt Bath

Salt baths are easy to create but can feel luxurious and sensual, and they have the added benefit of cleansing while you soak! To elevate your experience, blend your bath salts with gently dried herbs to make a bath tea.

Bath Tea Recipe:

Mix 3-5 drops of essential oil with 1 cup Epsom salts

Fill small organza bag halfway with mixture

Add 1 tbsp each of dried lavender, calendula, chamomile, and rose

Place bag into bath water and let it steep until your desired potency is reached, just like tea!

Diffuser & Essential Oil Sprays

Putting a citrus blend in your diffuser is a simple way to purify. Not only are citrus oils antiviral and antibacterial, they are also uplifting to the mood! Essentials oils such as orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, or tangerine can be blended with any other oil to elevate the energy of your space. No diffuser? Add oils and distilled water to a spray bottle and spray throughout your space! Our favorite blends are Rosemary + Lemon and Lavender + Sweet Orange.
